2012 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 revealed in Japan
Toyota has revealed the facelift for the 2012 Land Cruiser V8 in Japan. The European version will debut in Brussels next month. Just to be clear, it’s the Toyota Land Cruiser V8 that’s had a facelift and appeared in Japan, not the smaller Land Cruiser we also have in the UK (which gets called the Land Cruiser Prado in other markets).
Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, fuelling rumours that the canned Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept from 2009 (pictured above) could once again be back on. The move would see Merc increase its current 5% stake in the British brand following a deal announced last year to supply AMG engines for Aston’s next generation of sports cars. New Mercedes A Class EV on the way via Tesla
It would appear that Mercedes-Benz are planning an electric version of the new Mercedes A Class with a powertrain by Tesla. The new Mercedes A Class arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March as the Mercedes answer to the BMW 1 Series, and a very convincing new A Class it looks too. From an entry-level A Class which will get a Renault 1.5 litre dCi lump to deliver a sub-99g/km model all the way up (eventually) to a 4WD, 300bhp AMG A Class, it looks like the new A Class will cover the bases for every buyer, and then some.
